Important!
If switching to another type of paper, e.g.
from labels to tags or to different label
dimensions, the paper type must be
reset, see chapter 4.9.

. After the paper comes in contact with the inner paper guide,

press the <Feed> key while simultaneously holding the paper
end against the inner roller. About 10 mm (.4") of paper is fed
into the PHS unit.
If the paper is not fed, check that the paper end is in contact with
the roller. Repeat the above process if necessary. Do not keep the
<Feed> key pressed for more than 2 seconds or a piece of white
paper will come out at the time of printing.
. Put back the roll cover.

If the paper is not properly loaded, "No paper fed" is displayed
at the time of test printing. If so, load the paper properly and try
again.
. If the printer has stopped during a batch print job due to an out-

of-paper condition, Press the <Enter> key. The message "RE-
COVERY PAGE=01" appears on the display panel. Use the
<Cursor left> and <Cursor right> keys to enter the number of
copies that were not properly printed, if any. Press the <Enter>
key again to continue the job.
To cancel printing, press the <Stop> key.
