Setting the
Mark/Hole
Width
Intermec ColorCoder V4 – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
Set the width of the detection slots, or the black marks on the
backside of the labels or tags according to the following procedure.
Note that here, "width" refers to the size along the paper feed
direction as illustrated below. Refer to chapter 8 for information on
allowed values.

. After setting the label gap according to chapter 9.5, proceed as

follows.
MARK/HOLE SET.
. Press the <Enter> key.

MARK/HOLE
. "04" is the default mark width value for "Paper Type 1". Press

the <Cursor right> key. A cursor appears under the numbers on
the display panel.
MARK/HOLE
. Use the <Menu> key to increment, and the <Enter> key to

decrement the number above the cursor.
MARK/HOLE
. After entering the desired value, press the <Cursor right> key.

The cursor disappears from the display panel. Press the <Enter>
key to set the mark width. The display panel now shows:
TOP OF FORM SEL.
. Press the <Menu> key repeatedly to return to the "OFF LINE"

menu.
