Deceleration Time 2
Program Special Acc/Dec (1 - 4) Settings
This parameter specifies the time in seconds for the drive to go from the
Maximum Frequency to 0.0 Hz for the Deceleration (Dec) 2 Profile. The
Acceleration/Deceleration (Acc/Dec) pattern may be set using S-Curve Acc/
Dec Pattern 1 (F502). The minimum Acc/Dec time may be set using Acc/Dec
Time Lower Limit (F508).
This setting is also used to determine the deceleration rate of the UP/DOWN
Frequency functions.
Note:
A deceleration time shorter than the load will allow may cause
nuisance tripping and mechanical stress to loads.
Automatic Acceleration/Deceleration, Stall, and Ridethrough
settings may lengthen the deceleration time.
S-Curve Acceleration/Deceleration Pattern 1
Program Fundamental  Acc/Dec 1 Settings
Program Special  Acc/Dec (1 - 4) Settings
This parameter enables a user-selected preprogrammed output profile that
controls the acceleration and deceleration pattern for the Acceleration/
Deceleration (Acc/Dec) 1 parameter.
Settings:
0 — Linear
1 — S-Pattern 1
2 — S-Pattern 2
The figures below provide a profile of the available Acc/Dec patterns.
S-Pattern 1 is used for applications
that require quick acceleration and
deceleration. This setting is also
popular for applications that require

Linear acceleration and
deceleration is the default pattern
and is used on most applications.
