The I/O module provides the fieldbus coupler/controller 24 bytes of input and
output process data via one logical channel. This consists of 8-byte control/status
words and 16-byte data words.
Process data image is specific to the fieldbus coupler/controller used
The mapping of the process data is specific to the fieldbus coupler/controller
used. This information, as well as the specific configuration for relevant
control/status bytes, is found in the description of the process image of the
corresponding coupler/controller in the section "Fieldbus-Specific Configuration
of Process Data."
