Measurement Principle

The 3-Phase Power Measurement Module uses 7 A/D converters to capture the
current and voltage values of all 3 phases and the current in the neutral
conductor according to the schematic illustrations in the section "Schematic
Circuit Diagrams."
The currents of the load for the 3 phases and the current in the neutral conductor
2 connections (+ and −) are available for connecting the current transformers or
are connected to the current measurement channels differentially, i.e.
Rogowski coils.
Low-pass filters on the 7 inputs have a cutoff frequency of 15.9 kHz. Each input
signal is quantized with a depth of 24 bits and processed further digitally.
Acquisition and processing of the measured values of all 3 phases and the
neutral conductor is performed time-synchronously in an identical manner.
With the 750-495/040-000 I/O module and the 750-495/040-001 variant, current
measurement inputs Ix+ and Ix− are connected to the N connection via a 1 kΩ
resistor. With the 750-495/040-002 variant, the RCx+ current measurement input
is connected to the N connection via a 22 kΩ resistor, and the RCx− current
measurement input is connected to it via a 0 kΩ resistor.

Measured Value Overview

The 3-Phase Power Measurement Module provides the following measured
AC values.
The measured values for the 3-Wire Wye/Delta, 4-Wire 2-Phase, and Artificial
Star Point configurations are supported by firmware versions 05 and above.
The measured values marked with "-" in the tabular overview return an INVALID
value for readout via the process data (the format of the 32-bit measured values
is defined in the section "Measured Value Collections)".
You can find information on the possible connection diagrams in the sections
"Power Measurement with 4-Wire Connection on Y Networks" and "Power
Measurement with 3-Wire Connection on Y/Δ Networks."
