Danger when operating current transformers in an open circuit
Current transformers from many manufacturers must not be operated in an open
circuit, since otherwise voltages can occur that are dangerous if touched, and
there is a danger of electric shock. The current transformers can also be
damaged or destroyed.
Connect the I/O module to the secondary windings of the current transformer
before starting up the current transformers.
In the event of negative power values, verify correct connection of voltage
transformer, current transformer or Rogowski coil
If power measurements erroneously yield negative power values, check whether
you have connected the corresponding voltage transformer, current transformer
or Rogowski coil in the correct orientation.

Accuracy

Please note that the overall accuracy of the setup consisting of the I/O module
and the current transformers depends essentially on the accuracy class of the
transformers.
Do not use current transformers for billing purposes
Regardless of the accuracy class of the current transformers used, the I/O
module is not approved as a meter for billing purposes in the sense of the
electricity metering standard (DIN 43856).
7.4.1.2

Current Types

The I/O module can measure periodic signals with a fundamental frequency of
45 Hz to 65 Hz with upper harmonic components up to a frequency of 3.3 kHz
(with 65 Hz line frequency).
