12. Remove cover (1).
NOTE: Keep shims and O-ring with the cover.

Support the input shaft on a hoist to avoid from
falling into the gearbox. Drive the shaft in the
direction shown, toward motor side of transmission,
and remove bearing outer ring (1).
14. Pull bearing (1) from the input shaft. Remove the
input shaft out of the gearbox.
15. If necessary, remove bearing cup (1).
