Symptom:
*NO CLUSTER ILLUMINATION
BULBS OPEN
HEADLAMP SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DEFECTIVE - PANEL LAMPS OPEN
TEST
1
Remove the Instrument Cluster.
Remove and test some of the Cluster Illumination Bulbs.
Are the bulbs Okay?
Yes → Go To 2
→ Replace the necessary bulbs
No

Remove the Instrument Cluster to gain access to the connector.
Turn the park lamps on. NOTE: If park lamps are inoperative, check fuse #15 and the
park lamp circuits and repair as necessary before proceeding.
Measure the voltage between Headlamp Switch Output circuit and ground.
Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?
Yes → Go To 3
→ Repair the open headlamp switch output circuit from the head-
No

If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.

Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
