Symptom:
*ALL DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE
GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
DRIVER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER WIRE SHORT TO GROUND
FUSED B(+) CIRCUIT OPEN
PASSENGER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER WIRE SHORT TO GROUND
DOOR LOCK DRIVER WIRE SHORT TO GROUND
DRIVER DOOR LOCK DRIVER WIRE SHORT TO GROUND
DRIVER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER SHORT TO DOOR LOCK DRIVER
PASSENGERS MOTOR SHORTED
DRIVER DOOR LOCK DRIVER SHORT TO DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER
DRIVER DOOR LOCK DRIVER SHORT TO DRIVER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER
DRIVER DOOR LOCK MOTOR SHORTED
FUSED B(+) WIRE SHORT TO GROUND.
DEFECTIVE FUSE #3
RKE MODULE DEFECTIVE - B(+) SHORT TO GROUND
RKE MODULE DEFECTIVE - RELAYS OPEN
RKE MODULE DEFECTIVE - SHORTED RELAY
TEST
1 Note: Ensure the vehicle is not in ship mode before proceeding.
Test fuse #3 in the fuse block.
Is the fuse open?
Yes → Go To 2
→ Go To 13
No
2 Turn ignition off.
Remove Fuse #3 in the Fuse Block.
Measure the resistance of the fused B(+) circuit from the fuse output cavity to
ground.
Is the resistance below 100.0 ohms?
Yes → Go To 3
→ Go To 5
No
