Symptom:
*HEADLAMPS FAIL TO FLASH DURING ALARM
DIMMER SWITCH LOW BEAM OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
RKE MODULE DEFECTIVE-LOW BEAM RELAY OPEN
TEST
1 Ensure the Low Beam Heqdlamps are operational before proceeding. If they are not,
select Service Information from the menu and repair as necessary.
Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Connect a test light to the Dimmer Switch Low Beam Output circuit to ground.
Turn the Low Beam Headlamps on.
Does the test light illuminate when the low beam headlamps are on?
Yes → Go To 2
→ Repair the open Dimmer Switch Low Beam Output circuit.
No
2 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
