RIGHT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE —
TEST

Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Turn ignition on.
Measure the voltage across the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply circuit
and the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit in the Right Rear Wheel
Speed Sensor connector.
Is the voltage above 10 volts?
Yes → Go To 3
No

Turn ignition off.
Inspect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor and Connector.
Is the Sensor or Connector Damaged?
Yes → Repair as necessary.
No

Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance between either one of the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
terminals and ground.
Is the resistance below 15,000 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor.
No

Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Connect a jumper wire between the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply
Circuit and ground.
Measure the resistance between the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply
Circuit and ground.
Is the resistance below 5 ohms?
Yes → Go To 6
No
ACTION
→ Go To 5
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
→ Go To 4
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
→ Go To 15
→ Repair the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply Circuit
Open.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
