POWER DOOR LOCKS/RKE
*ALL DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE —
TEST
15 Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Measure the resistance between the Driver Door Unlock Driver circuit and the Door
Lock Driver circuit in the RKE module connector..
Is the resistance below 1000.0 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Driver Door Unlock Driver circuit for a short to the
→ Go To 16
No
16 Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Measure the resistance between the Driver Door Lock Driver terminal and the Door
Unlock Driver terminal in the RKE Module connector.
Is the resistance below 1000.0 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Driver Door Lock Driver wire for a short to the Door
→ Go To 17
No
17 Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Measure the resistance between the Driver Door Lock Driver terminal and the
Driver Door Unlock Driver terminal in the RKE Module connector.
Is the resistance below 4.0 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Driver Door Lock Driver wire for a short to the Driver
→ Go To 18
No
18 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
ACTION
Door Lock Driver circuit.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Unlock Driver wire.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Door Unlock Driver wire.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Remote Keyless Entry Module (relays open).
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
