*ALL DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE —
TEST
9 Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Measure the resistance of the Driver Door Lock Driver circuit in the RKE module
connector to body ground.
Is the resistance below 1000.0 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Driver Door Lock Driver wire for a short to ground.
→ Go To 10
No
10 Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Measure the resistance between the Door Lock Driver circuit and the Door Unlock
Driver circuit in the RKE module connector.
Is the resistance below 1.0 ohms?
Yes → To isolate defective motor, disconnect each motor while testing
→ Go To 11
No
11 Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Measure the resistance between the Driver Door Lock Driver circuit and the Driver
Door Unlock Driver circuit in the RKE module connector.
Is the resistance below 4.5 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Driver Door Lock Motor.
→ Go To 12
No
12 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
13 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the RKE Module connector.
Turn all lights off.
Measure the resistance of the ground circuit (cavity #8) in the RKE Module
connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Go To 14
→ Repair the open ground circuit.
No
14 Disconnect the RKE Module connector.
Using a test light, test both sides of Fuse #3 to ensure the fuse is Okay and that the
12.0 volt supply is not open.
Measure the Voltage of the Fused B(+) circuit (cavity #3) in the RKE Module
connector.
Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?
Yes → Go To 15
→ Repair the open Fused B(+) wire from the RKE Module connector
No
ACTION
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
resistance between Door Lock Driver and Door Ulnlock Driver
circuits until resistance is greater than 1.0 ohm.. Replace motor.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Remote Keyless Entry Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
to the fuse.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
