VEHICLE THEFT/SECURITY
Symptom:
VTSS PREVIOUSLY ENABLED
When Monitored and Set Condition:
VTSS PREVIOUSLY ENABLED
When Monitored: During configuration of the RKE module (with ignition on).
Set Condition: If the configuration of the module type has been previously set for VTSS,
an attempt to set the module for non-VTSS will cause the new configuration to fail. This
code should only appear if attempting to re-configure a used RKE module.
RKE MOD DEFECT-VTSS PREVIOUSY ENABLED

The RKE module attempting to be configured to non-VTSS has originally been
configured to be used on a VTSS equipped vehicle.
If the vehicle is NOT VTSS equipped (does not have door cylinder lock switches or
decklid knockout switch) the module attempting to be configured is assumed to be
defective.
If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
Replace the Remote Keyless Entry Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
