Symptom:
*PARK LAMPS FAIL TO FLASH DURING ALARM
HEAD (PARK) LAMP SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
RKE MODULE DEFECTIVE-PARK LAMP RELAY OPEN
TEST
1 Ensure the park lamps are operational from the multi-function switch. If not, select
Service Information from the menu and repair the park lamp circuit.
Disconnect the Remote Keyless Entry module connector.
Connect a test light to the Head (park) Lamp Switch Output circuit (cav 2) to ground.
Turn the Park Lamps on.
Does the test light illuminate when the park lamps are on?
Yes → Go To 2
No
2 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
→ Repair the open Head (park) Lamp Switch Output circuit.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Remote Keyless Entry module (park lamp relay open).
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
