Symptom:
P/N MISMATCH
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P/N MISMATCH
When Monitored: During configuration of the RKE module (with ignition on).
Set Condition: If the configuration of the module type does not correspond to the module
part number, the configuration will fail and this code will set. Example: Trying to write
BUX w/RKE configuration to a domestic part number will cause this code to set.
RKE MODULE DEFECTIVE - P/N MISMATCH
TEST
1 Ensure the module type corresponds with the correct module part number.
If the module type corresponds with the module part number it is assumed that the
RKE module is defective.
If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
Replace the Remote Keyless Entry Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
