VEHICLE THEFT/SECURITY
Symptom:
*HORN FAILS TO SOUND DURING ALARM
HORN RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
RKE MODULE - OPEN HORN CIRCUIT
TEST
1 Ensure the horn is operational from the horn switch. If not, select Service
Information from the menu and repair the horn circuit as necessary.
Disconnect the RKE module connector.
Connect one end of a jumper wire to the Horn Relay Control circuit in the RKE
connector.
Momentarily touch the other end of the jumper wire to ground.
Did the horn blow when the jumper was attached?
Yes → Go To 2
→ Repair the open horn relay control circuit.
No
2 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.

Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Remote Keyless Entry Module.
