BRAKES (CAB)
RIGHT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE —
TEST
6 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Connect a jumper wire between the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit
and ground.
Measure the resistance between the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit
and ground.
Is the resistance below 5 ohms?
Yes → Go To 7
→ Repair the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit Open.
No
7 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance between the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply
Circuit and ground.
Is the resistance below 15,000 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply Circuit
→ Go To 8
No
8 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance between the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit
and ground.
Is the resistance below 15,000 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Right Rear Wheel Speed Signal Circuit Shorted to
→ Go To 9
No
9 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance of the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuits.
Is the resistance below 200 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuits Shorted
→ Go To 10
No
ACTION
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
Shorted to Ground.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
Ground.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
Together and Replace the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
