LEFT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE —
TEST
7 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Connect a jumper wire between the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply
Circuit and ground.
Measure the resistance between the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply
Circuit and ground.
Is the resistance below 5 ohms?
Yes → Go To 8
No
8 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Connect a jumper wire between the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit and
ground.
Measure the resistance between the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit
and ground.
Is the resistance below 5 ohms?
Yes → Go To 9
No
9 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance between the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply
Circuit and ground.
Is the resistance below 15,000 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply Circuit
No
10 Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the CAB Connector.
Note: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance of the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuits.
Is the resistance below 200 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuits shorted
No
ACTION
→ Repair the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor 12 Volt Supply Circuit
Open.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
→ Repair the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Circuit Open.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
Shorted to Ground.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
→ Go To 10
together and Replace the Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor.
Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST.
→ Go To 11
