5. Inspect lower pads and retainers and replace if
necessary.
. Lower shroud and radiator into position and secure

shroud with bottom attaching screws.
7. Install two retainers at top of radiator and shroud
with four screws.
. Connect radiator hoses and transmission coolant

line, fill cooling system, and check for leaks.
9. Refer to torque specifications in rear of manual for
correct torque values.
CD-CG50-60, MG60 MODELS (Fig. 9)
Radiator Replacement
Radiator replacement for these trucks is the same as
outlined in steps 1 thru 9 immediately above. The only

difference is that the radiator is turned around in its
vehicle position as illustrated by a comparison of Figures
and 9. Continue to refer to Figure 7 for trucks

equipped with fan shrouds.
PA40 MODELS (Fig. 10)
Radiator Replacement
1. Drain radiator and disconnect water hoses and trans­
mission coolant line if so equipped.
2. Remove screws securing fan shroud to supports and
carefully hang shroud over engine fan assembly to
provide clearance for radiator removal.
3. Remove screws securing radiator to supports and
remove radiator and shroud from vehicle.
4. Replace radiator mounting components if necessary.
5. Install radiator and shroud following removal pro­
cedure in reverse order. Connect radiator hoses
and transmission coolant line, fill cooling system,
and check for leaks.
. Refer to torque specifications in rear of manual for

correct torque values.
