CAUTION:
Raise engine only enough for suf­
ficient clearance. Check for interference be­
tween rear of engine and cowl panel.
4. Replace mount to engine and lower engine into place.
5. Install
retaining
bolt
specifications.
With 366 cu. in. Engine
1. Remove cotter keys then loosen front mount bolt.
2. Raise engine enough to remove weight from cushions.
3. Remove nut, bolt, spacer and cushions and reinstall
with new cushions.
4. Lower engine and torque bolt to specifications.
5. Install cotter key.
Rear Mount Replacement
Except GE 10-20 Series
1. Support engine weight to relieve rear mounts.
2. Remove mount attaching bolts from frame outrigger
and
clutch
housing
cushions.
3. Install new mounting cushions and bolts.
4. Lower engine onto mounts.
5. Torque bolts to specifications then bend lock tabs
to bolt head.

remove rear mounting
GE 10-20 Series
The two piece rear support in transmission case ex­
tension may be removed without removing the transm is­
sion from the vehicle. Replace both halves as a unit.
1. Position the fan blade with the blades pointing at the
to
four corners of the radiator and insert a piece of
heavy corrugated cardboard between the fan and the
radiator. (This will prevent the fan from damaging
the radiator in the event the engine is lowered too
far).
2. Raise the vehicle and remove the rear support nut.
3. Place a jack or jack stand under the transmission
extension and raise until the pressure is off the
rear support.
4. Remove the rear support bolt and lower the jack
until the rear support is clear of the frame.
5. Remove both halves of the rear support.
. Install a new rear support (both halves).

7. Raise the jack until the rear support hole lines up
and install the rear support bolt.
. Remove the jack and install the rear support bolt
8
nut and torque to specifications.
9. Lower the vehicle and remove the cardboard from
between the fan and radiator.
