Installation Warnings

This is a three-phase four-wire on-line uninterruptible power supply (hereafter referred
to as 'UPS'). It can be used for commercial and industrial applications.
Install the UPS in a well-ventilated indoor area, away from excess moisture, heat, dust,

nance. Please refer to 5.2 Installation Environment.
Only authorized Delta engineers or service personnel can perform installation and
maintenance. If you want to install the UPS by yourself, please install it under the su-
pervision of authorized Delta engineers or service personnel
All wiring and equipment should be connected and installed in accordance with NFPA
70, National Electrical Code (NEC), and the applicable sections of ANSI C2, National
Electrical Safety Code (NESC). It is the responsibility of the Authority Having Jurisdic-
criteria for installation and use.
1.2

Connection Warnings

Before applying electrical power to the UPS, make sure the UPS is grounded to avoid a
possible risk of current leakage.
You can parallel UPS units. For UPS parallel information and application, please con-
tact Delta service personnel.
You can install at maximum sixteen battery modules (optional) inside the UPS cabinet.
For relevant information, please refer to 5.9 Battery Module (Optional). To extend
backup time, the UPS can be connected with at maximum four external battery cabinets
External Battery Cabinet Connection Warnings for relevant information.
In this user manual, the meaning of Q1, Q2 and Q3 represents the following.
