NTERFACE
These commands are used to display or set communication parameters for
an Ethernet port, aggregated link, or VLAN; or perform cable diagnostics
on the specified interface.

Interface Configuration
interface Configures an interface type and enters interface
configuration mode
alias Configures an alias name for the interface
capabilities Advertises the capabilities of a given interface for use
in autonegotiation
description Adds a description to an interface configuration
flowcontrol Enables flow control on a given interface
giga-phy-mode Forces two connected ports in to a master/slave
configuration to enable 1000BASE-T full duplex
negotiation Enables autonegotiation of a given interface
shutdown Disables an interface
speed-duplex Configures the speed and duplex operation of a given
interface when autonegotiation is disabled
Configures broadcast, multicast, and unknown unicast
switchport packet-rate *
storm control thresholds
clear counters Clears statistics on an interface
show interfaces brief Displays a summary of key information, including
operational status, native VLAN ID, default priority,
speed/duplex mode, and port type
show interfaces counters Displays statistics for the specified interfaces
show interfaces status Displays status for the specified interface
show interfaces Displays the administrative and operational status of
switchport an interface
show interfaces Displays the temperature, voltage, bias current,
transceiver transmit power, and receive power
Cable Diagnostics
test cable-diagnostics Performs cable diagnostics on the specified port
show cable-diagnostics Shows the results of a cable diagnostics test
