8.2 DEVELOPER INSTALLATION

1. From the Developer Collection procedure step number 9 condition,
remove all the toner supply receptacles [A] (1 screw).
2. Remove the right inner cover. (See Right Inner Cover Removal section.)
3. Remove the developer supply funnel [B] from the bracket [C] (1 screw).
4. Clean the inner surface of the developer supply funnel.
5. Set the developer supply funnel on the black development section as
shown.
6. Enter SP mode and open SP Test Mode P-7, No. 213 (Output Check).
7. Touch the key [D] to enter the output
mode.
8. Enter "30" by using the number keys then
touch the enter key [E], to select test
mode #30 "black development drive
motor ON".
9. Touch the start key [F].
10. Shake a pack of developer [G] 20 times
then pour it in.
11. One minute after pouring the developer, touch the Stop key [H].
NOTE: Do not touch the stop key within 1 minute, otherwise the
developer will not be evenly distributed in the unit.
