2.1.1 Registration Adjustment
3. Enter the SP mode and open SP
Adjustment P-16, No. 119
(Blank Margin) [A].
4. Make a note of current settings and
enter "O" for all the settings in
the page [B] for now.
5. Open SP Test Mode P-3, No. 205
(Test Pattern Condition) [C].
6. Touch the Trimming Area key [D]
and touch the Set key [E].
7. Touch the Copy in SP key [F] and
confirm that the single color (black)
mode and the 3rd paper tray is
selected.
8. Press the start key and print out
the trimming area test pattern.
9. Open SP Adjustment P-1, No. 101
(Lead Edge Registration "Printing")
[G] and adjust the lead edge
registration (B1) to meet the
standard copy image by changing
the setting [H].
NOTE: Copy image will shift up
when entering greater
setting. (0.5 mm/bit)
10. Open SP Adjustment P-3, No. 104
(Side to Side Registration "Printing")
[I] and adjust the side-to-side
registration to meet the
standard copy image (A
changing the setting [J].
NOTE: Copy image will shift to the
left when entering a greater
setting. (0.1 mm/bit)
