2.1.2 Blank Margin Adjustment

11. Open SP Adjustment P-16,
No. 119 (Blank Margin) [K] and
change the settings [L] from
"O" to the factory set data or the
previous settings.
12. Open SP Test Mode P-3, No. 205
(Test Pattern Condition) [M].
13. Touch the Trimming Area key [N]
and touch the Set key [O].
14. Touch the Copy in SP key [P] and
confirm that the single color (black)
mode and the 3rd paper tray is
selected.
15. Press the start key and print out
the trimming area test pattern.
16. Open SP adjustment P-16, No 119
and adjust the blank margin of the
4 edges [L] to meet the registration
plus blank margin adjustment

NOTE 1: The blank margin on the copy will increase when entering a
greater setting.
NOTE 2: Main Scan Lead Edge, adjusts the blank margin at the right
edge of the copy paper.
Main Scan Trail Edge, adjusts the blank margin at the left
edge of the copy paper.
Sub Scan Lead Edge, adjusts the blank margin at the leading
edge of the copy paper.
Sub Scan Trail Edge, adjusts the blank margin at the trailing
edge of the copy paper.
17. Open SP Test Mode P-3, No. 205 [M] and touch the Reset key [Q].
