13.6 FUSING LAMP AND FUSING THERMOFUSE

NOTE: If replacing only the fusing lamp, skip steps 4 and 5.
1. Remove the fusing unit from the machine (see Fusing Unit Removal).
2. Remove the handle cover (2 screws).
3. Remove the top cover (1 screw).
4. Remove the fusing thermofuse [A] and harness [B] (1 screw and 2
connectors).
5. Remove the bracket from the thermofuse.
6. Remove the rear fusing lamp bracket [C] (1 screw, 1 connector).
7. Remove the pad [D] from the front end.
8. Pull the fusing lamp [E] out from the rear (1 connector).
NOTE: When reinstalling the fusing lamp, make sure that both ends are
properly fixed in the brackets and the pad [D] is placed in between
the front fusing lamp bracket and the ball bearing.
