4. SCANNER UNIT

4.1 EXPOSURE GLASS REMOVAL

1. Remove all screw covers [A] (5 pcs) from the left and rear scales.
2. Remove the left scale [B] (2 shoulder screws) and the rear scale [C]
(3 shoulder screws).
3. Grasp the rear side of the exposure glass [D] and lift up slightly. Remove
the exposure glass [D] by sliding it to the rear side as shown in the figure.
NOTE: When reinstalling the exposure glass, make sure of the following:
a) The white reference plate [E] must be facing down.
b) Position the white plate at the left.
