7.6 CHARGE WIRE REPLACEMENT

1. Take out the change corona unit [A]. (See Drum Unit Removal Section.)
2. Remove the grid plate [B] (1 screw).
3. Remove the front end block cover [C] and the rear end block cover [D] by
using a small screw driver from the rear of the unit as in [E].
4. Remove the terminal spring [F] and then remove the charge corona wire
[G].
NOTE: When re-installing the end block covers, insert the tip [H] then
push down on the cover.
5. If the grid plate, casing, or the charge wire were replaced or cleaned,
perform the "Process Control Self Check" (SP Test Mode P-6, No. 210).
