6.5 BY-PASS FEED TABLE

6.5.1 Pick-up, Paper Feed And Separation Roller Replacement

1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Open the by-pass feed table [A].
3. Snap off the housing cover [B] and the roller cover [C].
4. Replace the pick-up [D] and paper feed [E] (1 snap-ring) roller.
5. Remove the copier upper right cover [F]. (See Upper Right Cover
Removal section.)
6. Disconnect the 2 connectors [G].
7. Open the right door and remove the vertical transport stay [H] (2 screws).
8. Remove the 2 step screws [I] securing the by-pass feed table.
9. Pull out the by-pass feed table by gently pressing down on the by-pass
feed table until both of the tables pins meet the stay's openings as
illustrated [J].
10. Replace the separation roller [K] (1 snap-ring).
