10.4 TRANSFER ROLLER REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the transfer roller unit. (Refer to the Transfer Roller Unit
Removal section.)
2. Remove the transfer roller guide plate [A] (2 screws).
3. Remove the paper discharge plate with the bracket on [B]. (Refer to the
Paper Discharge Plate Replacement section.)
4. Remove the bushings [C] (1 E-ring each).
5. Replace the transfer roller [D].
NOTE: The end of the transfer roller shaft [E] should be lubricated with
silicone grease G40M every 40 k scans.
