11.2 CLEANING BLADE SOLENOID REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the belt cleaning unit [A]. (Refer to the Transfer Belt Cleaning
Blade Replacement section.)
2. Disconnect the blade solenoid connector and the entrance seal solenoid
connector.
3. Remove the two screws [B] securing the cleaning solenoid to the blade
solenoid bracket [C].
4. Remove the blade solenoid bracket [C] (2 screws).
5. Remove the base plate securing bracket [D] (1 screw) and remove the
base plate [E].
6. Remove the blade solenoid plunger E-ring [F].
7. Replace the blade solenoid [G].
NOTE: When reinstalling make sure of the following:
•
Set the arm hole of the solenoid plunger to the pin first, then
screw the solenoid bracket.
•
The cleaning blade solenoid's plunger must be in (no contact
position with the transfer belt).
