Jumpers S2 and S3 for GND connection
You can set the GND connection (signal ground) of the receiving (Rx) and transmitting (Tx)
lines on the CAS side here.
GND connection
no signal ground (default)
signal ground on receive lines (Rx) on the CAS side
signal ground on the transmit lines (Tx) on the CAS
side
Recommendations for the GND connection:
symmetric line (120 ohms)
Ground the cable's shield on the side of the connected device (NT, MUX, modem).
coaxial line (75 ohms)
Do not ground the shield on both ends of the cable.
Tx: Ground the cable's shield on the TMCAS side.
Rx: Ground the cable's shield on the side of the connected device (NT, MUX, modem).
