4. In the Login's Name field, type a login name agreed upon with the customer. Alternatively,
a Business Partner may add the dadmin login.
5. In the Login Type field, type customer.
6. In the Service Level field, type super-user.
7. In the Days to Disable After Inactivity field, type 90.
8. In the Login's Password field, type a password.
9. In Reenter Login's Password field, type the password again.
10. In the Password Aging Cycle Length field, type 90, and press Enter.
11. If you are upgrading an LSP such that you created this super-user login on the primary
controller, do the following also on the primary controller.
a. Log in with telnet or ssh.
b. At the Linux command line, type filesync -a <IP_address_of_LSP>, where
<IP_address_of_LSP> is the IP address of the LSP you are upgrading.

Creating a super-user login, if necessary, for R4.0 or higher

If a super-user login does not exist, you must add at least one before you complete the upgrade.
The easiest way to add a login is with the Maintenance Web pages. Use the following steps only
if you are starting from Release 4.0 software or later:

primary controller. Then, at the LInux command line on the primary controller, run
the filesync -a <IP_address_of_LSP> command.
To create a login:
1. Ask a customer representative for a login name and password that the customer would like
for the superuser login. If you are a business partner, you can also repeat this procedure to
add the dadmin login.
