2 Check cable for short circuit:
OK Proceed to test 3
- ECM pin B27 to ground Short circuit Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to
- ECM pin B28 to ground

3 Check cable continuity: OK Contact Triumph service
- ECM pin B27 to Instrument pin 1
Open circuit
Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to
- ECM pin B28 to Instrument pin 2
test 5

Check cable for short circuit: OK Proceed to test 5
- ECM pin B27 to ECM pin B28
Short circuit Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to
test 5
5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code and run OK Action complete, quit test
