NI Ultiboard User Manual
Use the Vias tab to work with via information.
Column
Assume Net
The unique identifier for the net to which the via is
connected. Can be changed by using the drop-down
list.
Lamination
Double-click to display the Select the lamination
that is to be used for this via dialog box, where you
select the layers that the via is to run between.
This setting cannot be changed for micro vias.
Pad Diameter
The diameter of the via as set in the Via Properties
dialog box. Refer to the
Properties

Drill
The diameter of the drill hole in the via, as set in the
Diameter
Via Properties dialog box. Refer to the
Editing Via Properties

Trace
The minimum clearance permitted between the via
Clearance
and traces, as set in the Via Properties dialog box.

Locked
Yes indicates that the via cannot be moved. No
indicates that the via can be moved.
Soldermask
The side of the board on which the solder mask for the
via is found. Choices are: Both; Bottom; None; Top.
Type
The type of via. This field is read-only.
