A. Introduction
This section provides system programming using
VT compatible terminals. Before starting system
programming, Section 8 "Preparation for
Programming and Maintenance (VT220 and
Compatibles)" must be read. This section
provides the basic operations required for system
programming.
Programming consists of 10 submenu screens
and each submenu consists of various setting
screens.
The setting screens are used to assign or change
various parameters concerning the system
administration such as Tenant, Class of Service,
Numbering Plan and so on.
The setting screens should be programmed in
order of "First Set", "Second Set" and "Third Set"
which is illustrated in "Construction of
Programming Mode" on the following page. If
you program a screen in the second set before
setting the first-set screens, an error message
will appear. For example, if you program
"Extension" before programming "Configuration-
DN Assignment", an error message is displayed.
In this section, each setting screen is explained
using a screen and an explanation table.
