6.00 Monitor
Monitor function provides displaying current
status of "Error Log", "Device Status" and "Traffic
Information" individually on the screen.
Error Log
When a system maintenance object begins to fail
periodic testing, the system automatically
generates an error record which is stored in the
Error Log.
Consulting the error log should be the first step in
diagnosing system related troubles.
For further information, refer to Section 15-D-
2.02 "Consulting the Error Log".
Device Status
Provides information about current operation
status of the following items individually on the
screen.
• System
• Card
• Port
• Conference Trunk
Traffic
Provides current traffic information about
following items individually.
• Station
• Trunk Group
• Attendant Console
• DISA
• OGM1
• OGM2
• AGC
Refer to Section 15-G "Monitor" for further
information about monitor.
7.00 Backup Utility
Making backups of the system programming data
and keeping it is extremely important in the
unlikely event that system programming data are
lost in a system failure.
Backup Utility consists of "save" and "load".
Save is to transmit a file of data from your system
to backup device.
Load is to send a file of data on your system from
backup device.
Before beginning saving or loading, check
carefully that you are going to the direction you
want.
It's very easy to erase files if you make a mistake
and confuse saving and loading.
Starting up the backup operation can be done
both at on-site and from a remote location.
Refer to Section 17 "Backup-Utility on-site" and
Section 18 "Backup Utility-Remote Location" for
further information.
