Fuser Failure

Phaser 6300/6350/6360 Color Laser Printer Service Manual
The Fuser temperature regulation has failed.
Applicable Status Codes:
Code 40:
The temperature sensor sensed an overheat condition.
Code 41:
The temperature sensor sensed a low temperature condition.
Code 42:
Temperature sensor not providing an output.
Code 43:
Warm up failure.
Initial Actions:
Reseat the Fuser and cycle printer power.

Warning
Avoid the potential of electric shock by removing the power cord from the
wall outlet prior to performing the following procedure.
Caution
Allow adequate time for the Fuser to cool before servicing the printer.
