Print-Quality Troubleshooting
Horizontal Bands, Voids Or Streaks in Any or All Colors
5-18
There are areas of the image that are extremely light or missing entirely.
These missing areas form bands parallel to the leading edge.
Initial Actions
■
Confirm that the paper is supported. Poor quality papers can contribute to
this type of problem.
■
Ask the customer about their typical printing habits. Continuously printing
long print jobs with heavy coverage can temporarily cause banding.
