198 Chapter 16 Using Element Manager to set the basic parameters

To configure the LAN IP address

1 From the Configuration tab, click the Resources folder to expand it.
2 Select Network Interfaces.

Select the Interfaces tab. It is normally selected by default.
4 Select the LAN interface to configure.
5 From the Details panel, select the IP Settings tab.

From the IP Address Specification area, click Modify. The Modify IP Settings dialog box
opens.
7 Configure the IP Settings attributes (see

Note: If any of the attributes are modified, then the Element Manager session is disconnected.
8 Click Ok.

To configure the modem

1 From the Configuration tab, click the Resources folder to expand it.

Select Network Interfaces.
3 Select the Global Settings tab.
4 Select the regional profile from the Modem Region dropdown list for your region.

Select the Enable modem checkbox to enable the modem.
