The hydraulic pumps are driven by the engine via a V-belt. V-belt tension is
controlled by a spring loaded tensioner; refer to
(page 4–18). Refer to the traction unit Operator's Manual for pump drive belt
replacement information.
The following procedures describe removing the left side or the right side piston
(traction) pump. The left side piston (traction) pump and gear pump assembly
can be removed from the machine as an assembly, then separate the pumps
if necessary. The gear pump can be removed separately if desired; refer to

If the piston (traction) pump is replaced in part or in whole, the
traction control linkage requires adjustment before returning the
machine to service; refer to
