The gear pump can be removed separately or with the left side traction (piston)

1. Raise the rear of the machine; refer to
2. Drain the hydraulic reservoir; refer to the traction unit Operator's Manual.
3. Read and adhere to the information provided in
Removing and Installing the Hydraulic System Components (page
4. Clean the area around the hydraulic hose and fitting connections then
disconnect or remove the hydraulic hoses from the gear pump. Cap or plug
the disconnected hydraulic hoses and fittings to prevent hydraulic system
contamination.
5. Remove the fasteners securing the gear pump to the left side piston (traction)
pump and separate the gear pump from the traction pump. Locate O-ring
and shaft coupler from between the pumps and discard the O-ring.
6. If necessary, remove the hydraulic fittings from the pump. Record the
locations and orientations of the fittings for assembly purposes.
7. Remove and discard all the O-rings from the hydraulic and fittings that were
disconnected or removed.
