Installing the Hydraulic Reservoir

or plug the disconnected hydraulic tubes and fittings to prevent hydraulic
system contamination.
7. Remove the hydraulic reservoir from the machine.
8. Remove, clean, and inspect the suction strainer. Discard the O-ring.
9. Clean hydraulic reservoir with solvent.
10. Record the fitting location and orientation and remove the hydraulic fittings
if necessary. Discard the O-rings.
11. Inspect reservoir for leaks, cracks or other damage.
12. Check the mounting bumper on the machine fender for wear or damage and
replace if necessary.
1. If previously removed, use new O-rings and install the hydraulic fittings and
suction strainer. Tighten the fittings and suction strainer to the torque values
specified in
Figure
2. Fit the hydraulic reservoir to the machine and connect the previously
removed hydraulic hoses; refer to
(O-Ring Face Seal Fitting) (page
3. Position the hydraulic reservoir securely over the mounting bumper and
install the clamp at the top of the reservoir.
4. Install the battery tray.

6. Fill the hydraulic reservoir with the appropriate hydraulic fluid; refer to the
traction unit Operator's Manual.
7. Operate the machine and check for and correct any leaks before returning
the machine to service.
