Special Equipment Required:
•
Flow meter with pressure gauge that has at least a 57 L/minute (15
gallons/minute) capacity.
•
2 Hydraulic test hoses
•
Non-contact tachometer (photo tach)
Refer to Traction Circuit Component Failure (page 5–6)
information regarding the importance of removing contamination
from the traction circuit.
1. Read and adhere to the information provided in
Charge Pressure (page
2. Remove the rear wheel of the side being tested; refer to
Installing the Rear Wheels (page 7–5)
3. Clean the fittings and the hydraulic tubes ends at the traction pump and the
wheel motor for the side being tested.
• When testing the right side wheel motor, clean the fittings and the hydraulic
tubes ends at the right side traction pump "A" port and at the right side
wheel motor "A" port
• When testing the left side wheel motor, clean the fittings and the hydraulic
tubes ends at the left side traction pump "A" port and at the left side wheel
motor "B" port
