1. Raise the front of the machine; refer to
2. Remove the fasteners securing the wheel to the caster fork and remove
the front wheel.
3. Remove the caster fork grease cap.
4. Remove the lock nut from the caster fork spindle and slide the caster fork
from the machine.
5. Remove the three (3) belleville washers and the upper bearing cone.
6. Remove and discard the grease seal, then retrieve the lower bearing cone.
7. Clean and inspect the bearing cups and cones for wear or damage and
replace as necessary.

Inspect the wheel assembly for worn or damaged components and repair or
replace then as necessary; refer to

for this procedure.
1. If previously removed, press new bearing cups all the way into the axle.
2. Pack the bearing cones with No. 2 lithium grease.
