7. Remove the fasteners securing the manifold to the manifold bracket and
remove the manifold assembly from the machine.
8. If necessary, record the locations and orientations of the fittings for assembly
purposes then remove the hydraulic fittings from the manifold.
9. Remove and discard all the O-rings from the hydraulic hoses, and fittings
that were disconnected or removed.
Refer to Figure 63 for this procedure.
1. Lubricate new O-rings and place them onto the fitting. If previously removed,
install the fittings to the manifold; refer to
(SAE Straight Thread O-Ring Fittings) (page
2. Install the manifold to the bracket with the previously removed fasteners.
3. Remove the caps and plugs from the fittings and hoses. Properly connect
the hydraulic lines to the manifold; refer to
Tubes (O-Ring Face Seal Fitting) (page
4. Connect the wire harness connectors to the cartridge valve coils.
5. Check the hydraulic fluid level and adjust if necessary; refer to the traction
unit Operator's Manual.
6. Operate the machine, check for and correct any hydraulic leaks if necessary
before returning the machine to service.
