Filtering the Closed-loop Traction Circuit (continued)
Hydraulic System: Service and Repairs
A. Remove the left rear wheel; refer to
Wheels (page
7–5).
B. Clean the fittings and the hydraulic tube ends at the left side wheel motor
B port and the left side traction pump A port, then disconnect both ends
of the hydraulic tube and remove the tube from the machine.

5. Connect the Toro high flow hydraulic filter in series between the disconnected
fittings. Use the hydraulic hose kit to connect the filter to the machine if
necessary; refer to
connections are properly tightened.
If using a hydraulic filter that is not bidirectional, install the filter
with the flow direction toward the traction pump for a traction pump
failure, and toward the wheel motors for a wheel motor failure.
6. Fill the hydraulic reservoir with the correct type and quantity of new hydraulic
fluid; refer to the aerator Operator's Manual.
7. Start engine and run at low idle speed. Check for and correct any hydraulic
leaks before proceeding.
