Lift and Tilt Angle Circuits Idle

Raising and Lowering the Rear Lift Circuit
Hydraulic System: Hydraulic Flow Diagrams
The gear pump attached to the left side piston (traction) pump supplies hydraulic
flow for the attachment lift and angle circuits.
When the lift or tilt angle system is idle (control lever is in the N
the control valve holds the cylinder stationary. Gear pump flow passes through
the control valve, the fluid cooler, and the return filter before returning to the
hydraulic reservoir.
When the center lift control lever is moved to the R
valve opens a path for the gear pump hydraulic flow to extend the center lift
cylinder. When the center lift control lever is moved to the L
control valve opens a path for the gear pump hydraulic flow to retract the center
lift cylinder. Cylinder speed is regulated in both directions by restricting the fluid
returning from the cylinder. The hydraulic fittings used in the A1 and B1 ports of
the control valve include a control orifice and a check valve. Center lift circuit
pressure is limited to 6000 kPa (870 psi) by relief valve (RV1) in the lift control
valve. A check valve in each lift circuit of the control valve prevent the cylinder
from moving in the opposite direction than commanded if the system pressure is
lower than the pressure required to move the cylinder when it is first actuated.
When the tilt angle control lever is moved to the F
valve opens a path for the gear pump hydraulic flow to retract the tilt angle
cylinder. When the tilt angle control lever is moved to the B
the control valve opens a path for the gear pump hydraulic flow to extend the tilt
angle cylinder. Cylinder speed is regulated in both directions by restricting the
fluid flow to the cylinder. The hydraulic fittings used in the A2 and B2 ports of
the control valve include a control orifice. Center lift circuit pressure is limited to
6000 kPa (870 psi) by relief valve (RV1) in the lift control valve.
When the rear lift control lever is moved to the R
opens a path for the gear pump hydraulic flow to extend the rear lift cylinder.
When the rear lift control lever is moved to the L
opens a path for the gear pump hydraulic flow to retract the rear lift cylinder.
Cylinder speed is regulated in both directions by restricting the fluid flow to the
cylinder. The hydraulic fittings used in the A3 and B3 ports of the control valve
include a control orifice. Rear lift circuit pressure is limited to 6000 kPa (870 psi)
by relief valve (RV1) in the lift control valve.
