1. Park the machine on a level surface, engage the parking brake, set the key
switch to the O position and remove the key from the key switch.

2. Drain the hydraulic reservoir; refer to the traction unit Operator's Manual.
Note: Inspect the magnetic drain plug for debris. Inspect the hydraulic
fluid. Replace the hydraulic filter if fluid contamination is apparent; refer to
the traction unit Operator's Manual. Clean the magnetic drain plug before
installation.
3. Remove the battery; refer to
4. Remove the fasteners securing the battery tray to the machine and remove
the battery tray.
5. Remove the hydraulic reservoir clamp at the top of the reservoir.
6. Clean the area around the hydraulic hose and fitting connections then
disconnect or remove the hydraulic hoses from the back of the reservoir. Cap
